By: Carisha The wave of new R&B artists on the scene is quite refreshing when many people were speculating if this genre of music was being overlooked for the new Pop-Rap / Trap-Rap movement. Despite the music industry constantly changing, R&B music is without a doubt here to stay, and singer July Dreaming is helping to keep it on the forefront. This is an artist who writes her own music and has her hands in on the composition and delivery of everything she works on. She does not need a team to create a hit, just a pen, a pad, and she puts her heart into her music every time. Singing since a little girl, the Ohio native credits Brandy and Aaliyah as her musical inspiration. July is one of the artists who brings raw talent on any track. No auto-tune, heavy mastering needed because this star is every bit of a vocalist. July Dreaming doesn’t fit in a box. Her sound is new and refreshing. You can hear influences from the 80s, 90s, up to the trap music sounds of today. She has something for everyone and is sure to make you feel some type of way with her soulful lyrics. Koldplayy G on Working With Trouble * Pop Smoke * New Album & Trap Baby Gang – #XXL
By: Carisha Koldplayy G is a member of Trap Baby Gang Music Group in Miami and is putting in the work to make a name for himself. Trap Baby Gang is a team of artists, that produce music, own a clothing line, specializes in Vegan Culinary and more. Being a member of the notorious Music Group has helped him to become a grounded artist who has a clear conscious of what he wants to gain in the music industry. Koldplayy is heavily influenced by Reggae music and his favorite artist from that genre is Chronic Law. Despite the Coronavirus being the biggest pandemic to hit the world in years, he has managed to stay productive throughout all the challenges the entertainment industry has been going through. With popularity weaning away from record labels and people taking charge of how they publish their music it has become a new wave in the music industry. Thanks to DIY uploads, and the options of taking charge of their own streams the opportunities that independent artists must elevate with are endless. Koldplayy G also respects the movement that we all have come to love in the Hip-Hop industry from ‘Nipsey Hussel’. Since hearing Nipsey’s song titled ‘Bigger Than Life’, Koldplayy feels as if that sound was what hit him to wake up, and brought him back into music, reading, and finding his self. Music is an immensely powerful entity for the soul and appreciating the lyrics of Nipsey Hussel is what keeps him motivated. When you speak to him, he is unbelievably soft spoken and humble in his demeanor then transforms into a total opposite when he is in his artistry. Trap Baby Gang is really doing well by their artists, and Koldplayy G has made it known where his loyalty stands. They have a busy top of the year coming from their home front with new projects on the way. He is also not 1 to instigate violence in his lyrics and all the recent deaths we have lost in the Hip-Hop industry has had an impact on his music. Koldplayy considers himself an intellectual rap artist and although the game can be full of savagery and hate, he wants to take the high road and keep his music elevating to the people.

When you think of the diversity in the Hip-hop Industry you cannot help but notice the rise of dope rap artists on the scene in Florida. The beach life is not the only wave to chase in the 305, and the music industry is full of opportunity for upcoming artists. All the major cities there have something to offer, and Miami is in the forefront with helping artists go mainstream. With the support of his team, they began a movement of getting him seen and launching a budding career. He also mentions that his name relates to money and being successful, thus calling himself ‘J Staxx’. . When you listen to a J Staxx track you are getting a story and lyrics, where he is expressing the trials of surviving in the trenches. He is an artist that gives you substance, and really takes the time to put meaning behind what he is rapping about. The trap melodies he delivers are poetic and laced with bars of true-life situations he has experienced. . What started out with him freestyling with his friends, evolved into 1 day taking it seriously and wanting to begin recording full songs. He believes his purpose is to make music and inspire people to chase their dreams. The soft-spoken artist is a deep thinker. He is working on not over-thinking his career choices and putting all his energy into the music. He grew up listening and being inspired by the Hot Boys and Cash Money who both heavily influenced his music. He is a spiritual man and says 2 of the major things he cannot live without are money and women, but do not get it twisted he is as humble as he is talented. J Staxx stays to himself when he is in his creative zone and prefers being in a peaceful place while working on his craft. After living in Connecticut and Boston for a while before relocating to Florida, he has experienced the high and lows of the music styles in the north and the south giving him a culture advantage. Over the next 2 years he wants to consistently keep dropping music and growing his fan base. J Staxx is in the studio several days during the week and is dropping a new project weekly. When he is not recording, he spends his time in the gym staying fit and ready to tour. Taseti On Killing the Rap Game From Miami * Being Inspired by Nipsey Hussle * Lil Wayne & Her New Music.
Miami has some of the hardest rappers in the industry. Not only is it a melting pot of different cultures, the entertainment scene is where some of the new wave of artists are really make some noise for themselves. Taseti has a signature flow, beautiful look, and her own sound. She brings something different to the Hip-Hop Industry. The Miami Hip Hop scene is sometimes overlooked simply because there is so much going on in the city, but a ‘dope’ rapper will always remain on everyone’s radar. Taseti has that pretty girl voice but when she opens her mouth to rap, you are always getting bars laced with a heavy rap flow. She most certainly has her own style and brings flavor to the industry. The talented MC came up with her name from a tribe in Egypt, and she fell in love with the meaning behind it regarding the African American culture being a ever-lasting impression in the history of Earth. Working hard on her craft, Taseti is balancing her music career and motherhood. She has a young daughter who is 1 of her major inspirations. The amount of support and love for women who get up every day to raise their own, and still get out in the music business is what makes America a success. Here there are no rules, no norms to have to stick to. With Rolling Stone reporting in their Independent Artist Sector, that estimations included that independent artists generated $1.61 billion from recorded music in 2019… and that, in 2020, this figure will climb 32% to more than $2.1 billion. These numbers are proving everyday that artists can work hard, monetize their music, even control what type of music they put out to the world, and when they decide to. Taseti has been utilizing Soundcloud as her central music platform and has been releasing singles to build a following. She initially enjoyed poetry before her love for rapping and, is a true artist who prides herself on bringing substance into her catalog. With a dislike for the over-sexualizing in today’s music, she wants to bring authentic Hip-Hop without any gimmicks to her fans. She is heavily inspired by Nipsey Hussel and Lil Wayne. 2021 will be a big year in the music business and the hard work that Taseti has been putting in will resonate off everyone’s radars! Currently we have 3 Ply toilet paper, and, in the future, we plan on incorporating clutch wipes and paper towels. 4. Describe a typical work week for you? Getting evening orders packed and ready to ship out for the next day. At night we study the industry and see how we can improve and grow the brand. 5. How did you come up with the company name? We came up with about 3 different names, brainstormed on them all, threw the names out there to others for opinions, and decided to go with Triumph because of how powerful it came across and represented what we are going to become 6. What sets you apart from other toiletry companies? We are a subscription-based product. 7. How has the initial launch of Triumph Tissue been? The launch has been great! We have gotten a lot of support from all over the country. 8. What are the company’s plans for 2021? To continue to grow our subscribers and launch some of the new products. 9.
