Quality Control Music CEO ‘Pierre Thomas’ Speaks on Artists & Manager Relationships

The record business is no joke! Time and energy is a big part of making it far in the industry, but once money is involved things go to a whole new level. We have all witnessed the success and downfalls of musicians, lawsuits between manager and artists, even artists becoming #1 on the charts and admitting they are flat out broke due to poor management.

Atlanta based record label, Quality Control was founded by Kevin “Coach K” Lee, and Pierre “Pee” Thomas in 2013. They hands down have one of the hardest lineups in the game. Their rooster includes Platinum selling group “Migos”, “City Girls”, “Lil Baby”, “Dj Durel”, “Lil Baby”, “Lil Yachty”, and “Stefflon Don”. It takes serious hard work and dedication to build a foundation as solid as theirs, and they’re work ethic has to be without a doubt ,monumental with the impact of business in Hip Hop. It’s dope to see Pierre Thomas talking about the ups and downs that come with working in the industry and every aspiring person should definitely study up before taking that big leap!
