Female MC ‘Pretty Yellow’ Win’s BET ‘The Next Big Thing’!!!!

Carisha The Diva

BET’s ‘The Next Big Thing’ has announced the winner of their artist search. The hip hop docuseries competition, launched with the goal of finding a winning artist, who was diligent and dope enough to secure the bag and a  record deal.  ‘The up-and-coming artists were subjected to a development boot camp, where they were given access to top vocal coaches, trainers, choreographers, writers, producers, and glam squads to advance their careers. The final step is delivering what one of them hopes is a star-making performance in front of major label scouts’.

The show which aired every Tuesday, hosted panel judges Zaytoven Beats,  Grammy winning music producer, Dame Dash, Mogul and part founder of Roc A Fella Records, with famed music executive Tina Davis. Several artists auditioned for the spotlight, but only a handful of contestants made it on the show. Pretty Yellow managed to hold her own every week, and beat out the other contestants on the series. With a sexy girl next door mixed with Hip Hop flavor image, and a hungry appetite to win, the ‘No Hoe’ artist has kept her hustle strong after she made moves on the scene with rapper ‘Curren$y’ in the studio last spring. It’s been nothing but networking, recording and hard work since then and we are all happy for her. Her fans are looking forward to the next chapter in her career!! Her latest EP ‘Up Shit’ is out now on all platforms and has plenty of bops to hold you over for her next album hopefully coming soon. Follow her on Instagram @prettyyellow
