Clarkston, Georgia Mayor, Ted Terry is doing a phenomenal job with the growth and diversity in the city under his command. Ted Terry (Democratic Party) is running for election to the U.S. Senate to represent Georgia. He declared candidacy for the Democratic primary on May 19, 2020. He has launched a campaign against Republican U.S. senator David Perdue with a promise to “bring courage back to Washington”. Known as the “millennial mayor”, he stands for climate control, higher minimum wages, positive gun control, decriminalizing marijuana and a diverse living neighborhood for all walks of life especially immigrants who come to the United States. He did a very positive 1 on 1 interview with famed entertainment journalist Carisha The Diva, who is quite the media go-to girl. A Florida native, Terry moved to Atlanta soon after finishing college. After working for several democratic campaigns, he was elected mayor of Clarkston in 2013, and positively steered the city to adopt newer, fairer polices, including his commitment to operating solely on renewable energy by 2050.
